Yesterday, we had our friends from San Luis Chamber Orchestra, Patty and Linda, come here, to have Don put on new strings on their violin and viola. What a fun time we had, getting pegs adjusted for tuning comfort, checking sound posts, and listening to adjustments. They tried out some of Don’s instruments, and we compared notes of coming Christmas concerts. Patty took home an old violin top, scroll and a cello tail piece, with plans to hang her jewelry from them! How creative is that.
